Whew. What a weekend. It was one of the best and most memorable ones to date.
The 6 of us (Me, Mike, Brian, Chris H, Paul, and Eric) piled in a rental van Saturday morning and drove about 8 hours to Atlanta. It ended up feeling like a longer trip than I expected, but it wasn't too bad.
We had a great dinner at The Cheesecake Factory and then spent the rest of the night, ummm... playing bingo. Yeh, that's it. Bingo.
Ya know, spending a weekend away from town with 5 of my best friends really taught me something: It really doesn't matter what we do or where we do it, as long as our friends are together, we have the more fun than a barrel of monkeys. My friends are the best. You guys rule.
I'm already getting excited about Mike and Lauren's wedding. Should be great.
Posted by Jeff at May 19, 2003 10:24 AMThe Cheesecake Factory and Bingo. I don't think Bingo is legal in Buckhead. I see how it is jeff, you wait till I move out of Atlanta and THEN you go visit.
Posted by: Dan at May 19, 2003 12:21 PMBingo?! Who do you think you're foolin'? This was a bachelor party, right?
Posted by: Mom at May 19, 2003 01:09 PMOh you would have loved it, Mrs. Pollard. Jeff got bingo after the second round! He beat this old man who looked like he had been playing all afternoon. Paul won three rounds and Mike got to spin the lottery ball machine thingy. It was a great time. ;)
Posted by: B at May 20, 2003 01:08 AMOn a more serious note, I totally agree with Jeff. We could sit in the back of a cargo plane with crates, roosters and cows and still find a way to have a good time.
I love my friends more than anything, and wouldn't trade 'em for the world.
