Hey Beavis...Thanks.

See that guy over there? That's Beavis. He'll be your tour guide this afternoon. I figured since my content had been lacking a little something lately that I should hire some help. So here he is.

I wanted to take a second and thank all of my friends and family for purchasing their various Christmas gifts through my Amazon.com link over there to the left. Between us all, we made almost $800 worth of purchases, bringing me almost $38 in revenue for my expensive hobby. Thanks, guys! Keep those clicks coming!

The Mac community has been blessed with a very special gift this week. One of the announcements in the Stevenote Tuesday was Apple's new web browser called "Safari". And it ROCKS. It's incredibly fast at rendering pages..and smart, too. I'm actually typing this in Greymatter using Safari right now..and it just helped me spell "incredibly" correctly. One of the best things about Safari is that it's based on Open Source..meaning that they take public code, make it better, and then give it back to the community in a better state than they found it. For you non-geeks, this (Open Source) is why Linux is such a quickly-growing community and why it is such a powerful OS today. It's nice to see Apple aligning itself closer with the Open Source/Unix/Linux community. I feel that this is the absolute best future for the industry.

And I'm really excited about their new presentation software, Keynote, too. I've already been able to show screenshots, etc. to our Audio/Visual guys at work and they seem to think it'll be great for doing client presentations, etc. They're currently stuck somewhere between Adobe Persuasion (discontinued) and PowerPoint, which is terrible solution if you care anything about fonts and other graphical things that Microsoft has clearly overlooked with every release. The icing on the cake is that it reads and writes native PowerPoint files. And they work GREAT. Trust me, I've already tried it. (Don't ask how)

That's all for tonight. My goal is to attempt to get to bed before 2am. It looks like I'm on target. Goodnight, Beavis.

By the way, for anyone in need of their Beavis and Butthead fix (images, sounds, movies, etc.), here's a cool place. Enjoy!

....and The Great Cornholio has spoken! Are you threatening me? Shall we begin a petition to bring Beavis and B'head back on the air?

I mean the seasons... not just a few episodes a-la-SouthPark, but the entire season 1, season 2, etc. These may be better divxed, since quality is not something I'd care about. It's Beavis and butthead, after all.
