Last night's Agency Halloween bash was pretty awesome. But then again, most things are pretty cool when you're the winners! Yep, you heard me right. We (the ITS department) won the costume cokntest with our "Fish of Martin" costumes.
For those of you who don't live in Richmond and have never seen the "Fish of Richmond", here's the scoop: Every summer, people (not quite sure who) make a whole bunch of paper-mache' fish.. They all start out the same, but by the time they're done, they're all different. You may remember my photos I took of the fish earlier this year, and I think Brian took some at some point, too.
We thought the fish idea was pretty cool, so we decided to do our own spin on it. "The fish of Martin" were each decorated like client of The Martin Agency. I was the FMC fish. We also had the GEICO gecko fish, the Alltel fish, Hanes (complete with underwear), and a few more.
We were an absolute hit. The only problem is that wearing a fish on your head isn't as easy as you may think. Those foam-core fish were a little heavier than we expected. By the end of the night, my head hurt. And it was difficult to do much with a big ole' fishy on my head, too.
All-in-all, it was a great time. So now we have to figure out how we're going to divide the week's vacation that we won. Yippie!

What a creative idea! I love it!
And yep, I took some. The photos (well..the ones that came out...) from the Fish in the City can be viewed by clicking here.
Nice job Jeff! That looks like it was fun!

Congratulations! Did you use buckets for the head-pieces? Nice fish!
Do you remember a picture we have of Jennifer running around with a bucket on her head? I think it was the crayon bucket!
