Hi everybody. Sorry for the lack of updates over the past couple of days.
I've been continuing to learn about making database-driven websites and have learned even more valuable ASP coding skills.
Other than that, it's been running from one meeting to another and coming up with web designs for all of these new projects that I'm involved in at work lately.
It looks like we're on for lowering my truck on June 9th. Woo hoo! I can't wait. I go into my closet every couple days and look at my new control arms with anticipation.
That's about it. Nothing too exciting going on, really. Mike's getting himself settled in and has already started seeking employment somewhere in Richmond. Good luck to him. Hopefully, Gizmo won't drive him too crazy while he's at home during the day.

Control Arms? Is this going to be a permanent lowering, or will it be controllable like your old one was with the inflated air bags lifting it when needed?
Man... Altezza lights... lowering... new intake... new kickpanel speakers... new head unit...
Ever do anything crazy with your money like, oh-- I dunno - SAVE it? :)~ I'm happy for you, 'cause I know you enjoy doing this and having a sweet ride. At the same time, I get concerned, only because I can pretty much guarantee that in 30 years, you may not even remember that you had a Toyota Tacoma, and you'll be missing the retirement money you could have made by putting a couple bucks a month away when you were young and 23.
Again, please don't get me wrong. I'm happy for you. I really am. :) That truck of yours is sweet!! I'm just looking out for ya.

Then again, on the profits you make with computer parts on eBay alone, you could probably fund your truck's projects. :) I forgot about that nice lil' revenue stream. :)
You're at 70 feedback points? JEEZ! :)

Enjoy it while you're young. You never know when you'll kick the bucket.

Brian, I have to say that I disagree with you partially. My view of it is this: If you do nothing but save all of your money your entire life, you'll die a rich man. So what? Your money can't do anything for you when you're dead. I do believe in investing and I plan on jumping into Martin' 401K the minute I'm allowed to do so...but I think it's much more important to enjoy your money (and the joys it can bring you) while you're still alive.
My $.02.

Very valid, Jeff. That's why I'm happy for ya. I know how much you love soupin' up vehicles. It's good to have hobbies. :)
I also agree with the "you can't take it with you" philosophy. That's why I'm a big believer in spending money on something that I enjoy-- like seeing my friends happy. I mean, what the hell am I gonna do with my money? I wake up, work, workout, sleep, repeat. Aside from a $10 a day allowance for lunch, I don't need anything.
But it's times like last weekend when it's good to have money laying around. :) That's what I save for.
