Wow..this week has seemed pretty long. But it's over. Now I gotta figure out what I'm doing this weekend.
As some of you know, tomorrow (Saturday) is Apple's grand opening of their first two retails stores. One is in Tyson's Corner Mall near Washing, D.C., and the other is somewhere in California. Olivia and I debated on whether we should go up there tomorrow and we decided that it would be nice to spend a weekend at home, rather than going somewhere, as we have for the past few weekends. It makes better sense to go up there and visit the store the next time we go to visit Brian. That way, he and Paul can go, too, if they want.
Speaking of Paul, make sure you check out Brian's site today (and yesterday, too). Since Brian's somewhere between here and Denver, Paul is updating his blog for him while he's gone. Nice work, Paul!
I got the chance to learn some ASP programming today at work, thanks to Jack. He sat a couple of us down and gave us some basic fundamental knowledge of how ASP works and how to make it interact with an Access database. These are the skills that I've been dying to learn so that I can help develop some of the database-driven features and projects of our Intranet. I'm pretty psyched about learning about it. If you still check in here often, Jack..thanks!!
That's about it for today. Anybody else have any big plans for this weekend? Tell me about it!
