Today was full-speed ahead on the Intranet front at work. The lady who normally keeps track of corporate communications and "in-house" news had been out of the office for the past few months, and regular news updates suffered as a result. So, with her back, it looks like we'll finally have some great new news content for the site. It (the content on the site) has become pretty stale I feel like most of my co-workers have pretty much given up on the site as a news source. Hopefully, we'll be able to turn that around. Thanks to mastermind Jack Lyons, the news portion of the site will be database-driven by next week, allowing the corporate communications people to post their own news, rather then send it through me to post. That makes my life a whole lot easier.
Not sure if any of you care about any of that, but it was the highlight of my day.
A couple of exciting things this weekend: Radford's graduation and NASCAR's in town. However, I'll be attending the first of those two events, preventing me from attending the latter of the two. I can't wait to see everybody that I left behind in Radford..and, of course, go to BT's and Macados. Oh yeh..and Sonic.
And, by the way, for those of you who didn't watch Survivor: Tina won.
