Virginia is about the dumbest state when it comes to motor vehicles. Not only do they have laws that prevent you from modifying your vehicle at all from the norm, but they also have dumb regulations pertaining to yearly vehicle inspections. To make my long story short, I went to get my truck inspected this evening after work. I get to the shop (I'll refer to them as "FirSeUsCtKoSne") and the guy tells me that they're too busy to do my inspection. So I ask the nice man if I can make an appointment for tomorrow evening at about the same time. He replies, "Sorry, Virginia law says that we can't make appointments for inspections." I go next door to the other shop (we'll call this one "Badyear"), where I get basically the same answer. And they only do inspections from 8am-5pm. So much for your everyday working person getting their car inspected. As it turns out, I can probably squeeze it in before I go to work tomorrow morning. I can't wait.
Well, it looks like my survey (see below)is a total flop so far. Of course, I haven't really told many people that I've started putting some new features on my site. Perhaps that would help. Or perhaps if they're that interested, they'd stop by more often. It's only been one day so far, so we'll see what happenes. I really can't complain, though. Site traffic is a little more than double what it was about a week ago. I really enjoy dropping in every once in a while and seeing the comments that you all leave. Thanks for making my day more interesting! I hope giving you a glimpse into my thoughts makes your day a little more interesting, too!

hey jeff, I know this guy that can get you a sticker through the mail. We'll say he works at Hussy's Automotive. You think I drive to VA from Atlanta to get an inspection.

hehe. I think I used to do something like that, but mine came from Ray Carr Tires. Oops! Did I say that out loud?? Maybe I should have moved to North Carolina.

I know a guy who can scan your inspection sticker, tweak it a bit in Photoshop and then custom-print it so that it's mounted on a cardboard-like material in the perfect shape and size...oh wait, he got busted for htat. Nevermind.
Gotta take my car to the shop too. It's easier to drop it off at night, pick it up at lunchtime and be done with it. What an inconvienance though...

Just wanted to add "Waaah" to your second paragraph.
Don't worry about numbers Jeff. They come in time. Worry more about the quality of posts and feedback, as well as the return visitors. They're your key to interactivity success. :)
Regular reader (and now poster), good buddy, and fellow blogger,
Brian :)

Maybe some of us don't have the luxury of Tech TV... that wasn't an option on the poll. :(
