DOH! I just read my buddy Brian's blog tonight where he tells a horrifying tale of me stealing his thunder with my new format. I feel terrible now! The truth of the matter is: He gave me this wonderful idea (in which, I think, he stole from Leo) and I capitalized upon it before he had a chance to.
So, BK: this is my official (and public) challenge for you to get your Greymatter blog up and running and make it the very best that you can. We all know you'll get more traffic to your site before it's all said and done. :)
Posted by Jeff at April 9, 2001 11:54 PMJeff, just wondering about your host. Do you get anything for refferals? If you do, let me know... I might jump on the bandwagon.
Posted by: Paul at April 10, 2001 10:45 AMUmm, I don't THINK I get anything for referrals, but I can look into it. OLM.net has, by far, the best plan around. I'm only paying $8.95/month for 50MB of space and about 2gigs of transfer. I've got my own cgi-bin, ftp access, and plenty of email addresses and aliases. I've been nothing but pleased from day one with them.
Posted by: Gee_Three at April 10, 2001 11:08 AMMan, I gotta get out of my contract with burlee.com and join up with OLM.
Maybe I should make them an offer they can't refuse! :)
Brian :)
Posted by: Brian at April 10, 2001 11:12 AMyeh..I was gonna say something, but I guess we have to keep it clean around here, now don't we.
Posted by: stinky at April 10, 2001 11:22 AMNo need to feel bad Jeff. Since I've been acting webmaster, my days have been long and stressful. I look forward to a long night this evening of tweaking GreyMatter and a few other lil' gadgets I've been tinkering with to make it a very special peer2all.com.
BTW, It's been very neat to see how we've been reacting to each other's posts. This is a totally wild new thing here, and I'm enjoying it.
Posted by: Brian :) at April 10, 2001 03:44 PMOh! I'm getting so close now! Almost ready to release it...
