This weekend was one of the most productive I've had in a long long time. When I got home Friday after work, I sat down and came up with a list of stuff I wanted to get done. As the list became longer, I worried that I might not get it all done. This has definitely been the case before. But, I figured it was worth a shot.
I woke up early (that's 10am for me) on Saturday to begin a long day of working on freelance web work. For about 7 hours, I scanned images, cropped and resized those images, and made numerous changes to the websites for my clients. I finally finished up around 5:30 or so, just in tome for dinner with the fellas.
I woke up Sunday (a little later than "early") and watched the beginning of the race. I decided that if I didn't get away from the TV that I wouldn't get my stuff done. I forced myself outside where I did some further troubleshooting on my truck's knocking problem, switched out my punctured rear tire with my spare, took the bad tire to Firestone, and then washed and vacuumed my truck. I sealed the deal by putting our 2004 county stickers on both vehicles.
By the way, I narrowed my truck's knocking sound down to where the radiator bolts on to the body. I found that when I loosened one of the bolts slightly that the knocking stopped. Even better, when I tightened the bolt back up, the knocking didn't come back. So hopefully it will be gone just as mysteriously as it came.
