We were pretty much glued to the TV last night with our popcorn and soda, watching the war break out. It's amazing how the US media has made this whole thing out to be just another new reality TV show.
"Tune in tonight to see who Bush will vote off the island! Will it be Saddam? Will it be Cheney? Don't miss a single episode! Tonight..on CBS."
Still, you gotta watch it if you want to know what's going on in the world.

Brian said he was also sitting back, eating popcorn and watching the coverage. Like you, I was also thinking that this is more like a t.v. show than a war. Its even worse with the graphics and titles each network chooses. "Showdown in Iraq." Is that war coverage or a new PS2 game?

I watch Dubya's 4-minute speech last night, then CNN for about 5 1/2 minutes. I got bored and watched Comedy Central then until I went to bed. There's a this-is-how-much-I-care-about-this-war nutshell for ya.

I know! I got bored watching it last night, too. I think it's just because I was so tired of hearing about all of it BEFORE the actual war started.

Agreed. This is turning into the post-9/11 CNN coverage of speculations, suggestions and I-dont-knows.
