Wow. Never in my life have I met so many new peopleWow. Never in my life have I met so many new people. If you've been following, this weekend, Olivia and I traveled down here to (just north of) Asheville, NC for the Lewis family reunion.
It's been a long day complete with lots and lots of food to eat, people to meet and mountains to climb. And I'm tired. But, I figured I'd write in and say to everyone out there. So, HI!
We have to get up early tomorrow to eat breakfast with Olivia's grandparents and then make the 7-hour trek back to Richmond.
Oh, one final note: if you're a race fan, if you missed the Pepsi 400 tonight, you really missed it. Dale Earnhardt Jr. won tonight's race at Daytona, just 5 months after his father died on the same track in the final lap of the Daytona 500. What a sweet victory. I don't think I've ever been so gripped by a sporting event as I was in the final 5 laps of tonight's race and then during the celebration afterwards.
