Ashbury Day 0: We Got Flags!

I think Olivia and I thought that this day would never come. But here we are: Day zero for our new house.

We had our pre-construction meeting on Thursday where we were told that the completion date is now set for the last week in May or the first week in June. I got the "ok" (or the "we never had this conversation") on my wiring and conduit plans, so I couldn't be happier.

We went out this afternoon to find the long-awaited orange flags marking where our house will stand one day. Word has it that they will be digging on Sunday and pouring the footer on Monday.
