Well, after about a week hiatus, I'm ready with another round of house updates:
-The brick on the front of the house is done.
- With the help of Olivia, Eric, Kelly, Mike, and Jon, we performed our (not-so) super-secret wiring project on Saturday afternoon in record time We ran speaker wire for surround sound in the great room, cat5 ethernet cable throughout the house, and put in some PVC conduit to make future wiring a breeze. Hopefully the final round of inspectors won't have a problem with our handy-work. Luckily, our construction supervisor was very impressed with our work and thinks we'll be fine.
- The drywall has been delivered and is stacked around the house. The insulation crew should begin tomorrow and we should be getting some sheet rock before the end of the week.
- While we were wiring the house on Saturday, the vinyl siding crew showed up and began hanging Alcoa siding and trim. They've made decent progress so far and I expect they'll be done by the end of the week.
That's pretty much it for the new house. We haven't had any activity on selling our townhouse in about a week or so. No showings or anything. It's earily quiet.
